Aasha Sadan, a registered child care institute and recognized as a specialized adoption agency, has proposed to give in adoption a minor male child Bhavesh to the prospective adoptive parents and co-petitioners, who are Indian residents and have been registered to the "Carings" portal of CARA, the central agency for adoption. They have been found eligible to adopt. The prospective adoptive parents are aged 40 and 39 years respectively and have been married since 2008. They have no biological issues and have decided to adopt a male child. The prospective adoptive father is a Principal in a school in Gondia run by the Podar Education 1/3

Trust, Bangalore. His income records reflect a reasonable income. Income Tax records are also on record. His wife - the prospective adoptive mother is a homemaker and both the co-petitioners have filed the necessary undertakings and willingness to adopt. The prospective adoptive father has purchased a residential apartment and have premises of their own, presently residing in rented accommodation owing to the location of the Institute where he is discharging his duties.

The record indicates that the Child Welfare Committee has approved the adoption, having declared the minor legally free for adoption on or about 30 th June 2021. The child care arrangement is satisfactory as the prospective adoptive parents proposed to bring up the child in the company of the adoptive mother, who is not employed, as aforesaid. Willingness to adopt, medical reports of the prospective adoptive parents are found to be satisfactory and the prospective adoptive parents have been recommended for adoption by friends, who have vouched for the suitability of the prospective adoptive parents to take on this role as adoptive parents. The child study report is also found to be acceptable. A child security undertaking has been filed by the brother and sister-in-law of the prospective adoptive father, who have undertaken to look after the child and bring up the child in the event of any unfortunate eventuality. All in all, the proposal is seen to be acceptable and hence I pass the following order :- (i) Petition is made absolute in terms of prayer clauses (a) to (e).

Rs.2,00,000/- in the name of the child in LIC's Single Endowment Plan No.917 for 18 years. No loan shall be taken on the policy. The petitioner shall file evidence of this fact having been communicated to the LIC in the registry.
