The Judges Order seeks handing over of a fixed deposit receipt together with cash balance and accrued interest in pursuance of a grant. The grant of succession certificate was in respect of a debt belonging to the Applicant's deceased father. The Petitioner is her mother. The Applicant being a minor, a fixed deposit was kept in her name at the time of the grant. The Applicant has now become a major and applies for handing over of the fixed deposit receipt along with accrued interest and cash balance. A certificate of balance issued by Account Officer, High Court, Bombay along with the birth certificate of the Applicant is produced with the affidavit in support of the Judges Order. The application is allowed. A separate Judges Order to that effect is signed. All concerned to act on the authenticated copy of this order. (S.C. GUPTE, J.)
