By this Petition, the Petitioner seeks direction to the Respondents to decide the application of the Petitioner's dated 8th January, 2016 i.e. Exhibit "A" on merits in a time bound manner. The Petitioner filed application (Exhibit A) under Section 296 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 with Respondent No. 2 i.e. Superintendent, City Survey and Land Records (City) for recording as holders the name of the Petitioner and others in the land record viz. Property card of the property bearing Cadastral Survey No. Vishal Parekar 1/2
wp-3052-2018.doc 3926 of Bhuleshwar Division. It is the grievance of the Petitioner that the said application is till date not decided. 3.
In the peculiar facts of the present case, we deem it appropriate to direct Respondent No. 2 to take decision on application (Exhibit A) of the Petitioner on its own merits and in accordance with law preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.
Rule is made absolute in the above terms.
