The Petitioner seeks a Legal Heirship Certificate under Section 2 of Bombay Regulation VIII of 1827 in respect of one Ravi Daniel Sandewal, who is said to have died intestate in Mumbai, where he was ordinarily resident, on 27th October 2013. A copy of his death certificate is annexed.

The deceased was survived by five heirs, i.e., his widow, three married daughters and a son. Their names are mentioned in the tabulation below paragraph 4 of the petition. 3rd August 2016

During his lifetime, the deceased worked with Mumbai Municipal Corporation as Drain Cleaner with Employee Code 1486184. The Petitioner has applied for a job on a preferential treatment. There has been a mistake in his surname and he has advertised in the Official Gazette for the necessary corrections. He requires this Heirship Certificate for production before the MCGM to show that he is a legal heir of the deceased. 5.

All the heirs have granted consent. No other Petition for a heirship certificate, succession certificate, probate or letters of administration with or without will annexed has been filed. There is no impediment to the grant of relief.

The petition is made absolute in terms of prayer clause (a) in favour of the persons mentioned in the table below paragraph 4, namely, Aasha Ravi Sandewal, Mrs. Sunita Kunchikorve alias Sunita Ravi Sandewal, Mrs. Komal Arun Jadhav alias Ms. Komal Ravi Sandewal, Sujata Mahesh Jadhav alias Sujata Ravi Sandewal, Govinda Ravi Sandewal alias Kunchikorve.
