The election petition is of the year 2014. The matter was at the stage of recording of evidence. Despite several notices issued to the witness (PW4), the witness is not present. As can be seen, no substantial progress has been made in the election petition and it has no prospect of being disposed of any time soon. The petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.
