1.

The only challenge in this writ petition is to an order dated 17 th September, 2018 by which Additional Collector (Encroachment& Removal ) Eastern Suburbs, Mumbai declined to grant prayer (a) of an application dated 6 th September, 2018 seeking maintenance of status quo in respect of two structures till the hearing of the captioned appeal. No further steps have been taken by the respondent pursuant to the impugned order.

2.

Today it is stated by the learned AGP that the Additional Collector - Respondent no. 4 will hear and dispose of the the matter within two weeks. Considering the fact that no steps have been taken pursuant to the application dated

46-wpl-3451-2018 th September, 2018 till the Additional Collector - respondent no. 4 decides the main appeal pending before him and passes a reasoned order, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner. With these observations the Writ Petition is disposed of.
