The High Power Committee will be available for hearing of the matters on 7th January 2017 and 21st January 2017. 2.

Considering the limited controversy, the Petition is disposed of by passing the following order:

ORDER :

(a) We direct the High Power Committee to take up the Application filed by the Petitioner for hearing of the prayer for ad-interim and/or interim relief as expeditiously as possible and in any event, either on 7th January 2017 or 21st January 2017;

ash wpl-2988.16 (b) Application for grant of ad-interim and/or interim relief shall be decided as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of three weeks from the date on which the submissions are heard;

(c) The ad-interim relief granted on 1st November 2016 by the learned Vacation Judge will continue to operate till the date of passing of the orders on the prayer for ad-interim/interim relief;

(d) In the event, the Application for grant of ad-interim and/or interim relief is rejected, the ad-interim relief granted in terms of the order dated 1st November 2016 passed by the learned Vacation Judge will continue to operate for a period of two weeks from the date on which the Application for adinterim/interim relief is disposed of by the High Power Committee;

(e) We have not made any adjudication on merits of the controversy.
