Pursuant to the order dated 4th March 2024, the learned AGP appearing for respondent no.2 has tendered copy of the communication dated 6th March 2024 addressed by the office of respondent no.2 to the Special Superintendent of the respondent no.1-Wakfs Board. It is taken on record and marked "A" for identification. The said communication indicates that records of various proceedings that were pending before the Joint Charity Commissioner have been transferred to the Wakfs Board. 2.

In view of the aforesaid, the respondent no.1 would have to take necessary steps to comply with the directions issued in Writ Petition No.2373 of 2017 on 7th June 2018. The respondent no.1 shall take necessary steps to comply with the aforesaid order within the time-frame indicated.

The contempt petition is disposed of.
