Though various reliefs have been sought in this petition, the learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that the Petitioner will be satisfied at this stage if the direction is given to Respondent No.2Directorate General of Foreign Trade to decide Petitioner's representation dated 9 August 2021. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner reiterates that representation is not being decided so far. 1/2

The petition had come up on board yesterday, that is, 6 December 2022. It was kept today for the learned Counsel for the Respondents to take instructions as to within how much time the representation would be decided.

The learned Counsel for the Respondents, on instructions, states that representation would be decided on its own merits as per law within a period of four weeks from today and the decision would be communicated to the Petitioner. Thereupon, it is open to the Petitioner, if the decision is adverse, to take such steps as are permissible in law.

The writ petition is disposed of.

In view of disposal of the writ petition, the chamber order does not survive and stands disposed of.
