The Petition is under Section 15 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. The learned sole arbitrator previously nominated has, by his email communication of 14th June 2019 expressed his inability to continue. The Petitioner has suggested some names. One of them is acceptable to the Respondent. 2.

Mr Rohan Sawant, learned advocate of this court, is substituted as a sole arbitrator for the original arbitrator. 3.

Before the previous arbitrator, pleadings are complete, issues have been framed, and compilations of documents have been tendered along with some Evidence Afdavits. Documents are to be 12th December 2019

926-ARBPL1431-19-I.DOC marked and evidence is yet to be taken. The one-year period will on 24th February 2020. I am extending the mandate now in the facts and circumstances of the case and particularly since the previous arbitrator himself indicated his inability to continue. The time to complete the arbitration is extended until 14th December 2020. 4.
