The Indian Adoption Petition proposes the adoption of a female minor, Trisha. She was born on 3rd February 2018. The biological mother surrendered the child before Child Welfare Committee, Mumbai Suburban District on 6th April 2018. The Child Welfare Committee gave the Petitioner institution the custody of the child on the same date. The prospective adoptive parents took the minor in pre-adoption foster care pending the adoption order of
the Court. The Pre-adoption foster care undertaking dated 4th August 2018 is on record.

The Child Welfare Committee, Mumbai Suburban District has, after following necessary procedures, declared the child legally free for adoption. The motivation letter, joint consent, willingness and undertaking by the adoptive parents are on record. 3.
The proposed adoptive parents are Indian Nationals and are residing at Gandhidham, Kutch, Gujarat. They are 43 and 36 years old. They have been married for 17 years. They have no biological children.

The medical reports of the minor are on record. The report states that the minor is mentally and physically fit. The adoptive parents have countersigned these reports. The medical report of the adoptive parents do not show any abnormalities or any adverse condition. The HIV reports for all are negative. 5.
The adoptive father is a Manager with Electrotherm (India) Ltd (Steel Division), Bhachau, Kutch. His monthly gross salary is Rs. 81,759/-. The adoptive mother is a homemaker. 6.
The updated home study report is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification with today's date. It is positive and recommends the adoption. It shows that the couple have a strong and stable marital life.

The Guardianship undertaking by the younger sister, one Amruta Abhay Kulkarni and brother-in-law, one Abhay Gajanan Kulkarni of the adoptive mother is on record. They reside at Satara and agree and undertake to look after the minor in the event of any mishap.

The proposed change of name from 'Trisha' to 'Mrunmai Pallavi Mahesh Jawalekar' is approved.

The Pre-adoption foster care undertaking is on record.
10. Having regard to the adoptive parents financial status, I have fixed the investment for the minor at Rs. 80,000/-.
11. The documents being in order, I will allow the Petition. The Judge's Order is separately signed.
12. I have seen the scrutiny report presented by Mr O Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of the Indian Council of Social Welfare, which is on record.
13. The Registry will get the Petition with all its annexures and all orders, including the signed Judge's Order, scanned. These digital copies are to be preserved. A soft copy may be given to the Advocate for the Petitioner free of cost on a pen drive provided by the Advocate for the Petitioner for the same. The Registry will ensure that the scan of the Judge's Order is a properly calibrated colour scan.
14. Authenticated or certified copies of this order and the entire Petition may be given to the minor on his application after she attains the age of 18.
