The Chamber Summons seeks substitution of the name of Defendant No.15 in the cause title. The substitution is necessary as a result of a Government of India Gazette Notification dated 13 August 2008. By this notification, original Defendant No.15 - State Bank of Saurashtra was acquired by State Bank of India. The Plaintiff proposes to substitute the name of State Bank of Saurashtra with State Bank of India as Defendant No.15. The chamber summons is made absolute in terms of prayer clauses (a) and (b). The amendment to be carried out within a period of two weeks from today. Amended copy of the plaint to be served on the newly added Defendant. Written statement, if any, to be filed by the newly added Defendant within a period of six weeks from today.
