In the present case, the Letters of Administration were issued on 06th November, 2020. In the grant issued by the office of this Court, the name of one of the Petitioners i.e. Petitioner No. 2 has been recorded as "Maria De Lordes Macedo". The learned Counsel for the Petitioners invited attention of this Court to the petition to submit that the correct spelling of the name of the Petitioner No. 2 is "Maria De Lourdes Macedo". On this basis, the Petitioners are seeking correction / amendment of the Letters of Administration granted on 06th November, 2020.

This Court has perused the original petition, which shows that there is substance in the contention raised on behalf of the Petitioners. The spelling of the name of Petitioner No. 2 at page 1 of the petition, as also page 5, where she has signed the petition is "Maria De Lourdes Macedo." It appears that while actually issuing Shrikant Malani

909.TP.190.2020.doc the grant on 06th November, 2020, a typographical error has occurred in the office of this Court.

In view of the above, the prayer made on behalf of the Petitioners is granted. The office is directed to issue corrected / amended grant stating the name of Petitioner No. 2 correctly. 4.

The learned Counsel for the Petitioners informs this Court that the original grant is already submitted with the Testamentary department. In that light, the department is directed to issue the corrected / amended grant, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within three weeks from today.
