---- CORAM : K.R.SHRIRAM,J (IN CHAMBER) DATE : 11.1.2017 P.C.:- This petition proposes the adoption of a female child Yashika inmate of Vatsalya Trust, born on 12.11.2013 by two American Nationals.

I have considered the report dated 29.11.2016 filed by the Scrutiny officer Mr.O.Hareendran of Indian Council of Social Welfare. The same is taken on record and marked `X' for identification. At the outset, based on a praecipe dated 11.1.2017 filed by the advocate for the petitioner, Ms.Nagpal, Mr.O.Hareendran KJ

FAP73.16-1 stated that the date "20/12/2013" mentioned in paragraph-2 of his report needs to be corrected as "24/01/2014" . Mr.Hareendran corrected the same accordingly.

In the report it is submitted that the consent and willingness of the prospective adoptive parents are pending. It was also mentioned that the child care plan undertaking from the proposed adopters was not separately submitted. Ms.Nagpal has now tendered the following :- (a) A letter dated 16.12.2016 from the petitioner mentioning about the discrepancy in the date mentioned in the report of the Child Care Committee ;

(b) A copy of the letter dated 13.12.2016 issued by the International Programme Director, Children of the World Inc. forwarding duly notarized declaration of willingness and undertaking for the care of the child dated 30.11.2016 and duly notarized Child Care Plan undertaking of the proposed adopters dated 30.11.2016. All the three documents are taken on record and marked X-1 (colly). Petition is allowed and the Judge's order is separately signed.
