The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. Disputes between the parties under the agreement dated 28th August 2014 and a supplemental agreement dated 24th May 2016 were, under an order dated 3rd May 2019, referred to the sole arbitration of Mr Rashmin Khandekar, learned advocate of the Court. There were proceedings under Section 17 and there was also a question of the addition of a third party, apparently an assignee of the Respondent. Ultimately issues were framed on 28th March 2019. Some time was lost in exploring a settlement which ultimately failed. Parties consented to an initial extension of six months. That ended on 6th November 2019. 6th January 2020
