These applications are preferred seeking amendment in the plaint on account of the legislative change brought about by the Major Port Authorities Act, 2021. In the Applications it is, inter alia, averred that with the enactment of the Major Port Authorities Act, 2021, the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 came to be repealed. It is, therefore, necessary to incorporate the changes in the plaints. 3.
Perused the averments in the Applications and the Schedule appended to the Applications. The proposed amendment is essentially consequential to the legislative change brought about by the enactment of Major Port Authorities Act, 2021.

The Applications stand allowed in terms of prayer clause (a). 5.
The Plaintiff shall carry out necessary amendment in accordance with the Schedule appended to the Applications within a period of three weeks from today. 6.
Amended copy be served on the Defendants within a period of two weeks thereafter.

The Applications stand disposed.
8.
The Suits be listed for directions as to final hearing on 13 February, 2023.
