The grievance of the petitioner is that by an order dated 31.1.2017, his case for eligibility was referred to Respondent No. 1 and though a hearing was given to him on 17.2.2018, no decision was taken by Respondent No. 1. In view thereof, this Court (Coram : A.S. Oka & M.S. Sanklecha, JJ) by order dated 27.3.2019 directed the first respondent to once again give a hearing to the petitioner and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible and in any event on or before 31.5.2019.

Today, we are informed by the learned AGP that the order dated 27.3.2019 is not complied with by the first respondent, on several grounds advanced by him. Without going into the genuineness of the said grounds / reasons, we direct the first respondent to hear the petitioner on Saturday, 15th June, 2019 and pass his order by Wednesday, 19th June, 2019.
