By this petition filed under section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, the petitioner seeks extension of time of six months to enable the learned arbitrator to render an award. Learned counsel appearing for the parties jointly state that the evidence is already concluded. The arguments are yet to be advanced. The parties agree that further extension of six months would be sufficient to enable the learned arbitrator to render an award. Statement is accepted. 2.

By consent of parties, six month's time is extended to enable the learned arbitrator to make an award w.e.f. 9th December,2017. 3.

The parties are directed to co-operate with each other and with the learned arbitrator in rendering the award within the extended period and shall not apply for any unnecessary adjournment before the learned arbitrator.

The learned arbitrator shall make an endevour to render an award within the extended period. It is made clear that no further extension would be granted.

Arbitration petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. No order as to costs.
