The impugned order dated 24th November 2016 is made in exercise of powers under sub-section 7 of section 48 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code 1966. There is a remedy of appeal provided under the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code 1966 for VRD

In view of availability of an efficacious remedy of an appeal, we decline to entertain this Petition filed under section 226 of the Constitution of India. We, therefore, dispose of the Petition. Remedy of the Petitioner is kept open.
