DATE : 07 AUGUST 2023 P.C. :- The learned AGP takes a preliminary objection that the Petitioner had earlier filed a Writ Petition No. 2061 of 2007 which was dismissed by the Division Bench of this Court by order dated 18 November 2016 and the present Petition for the same relief is now barred by res judicata. That the issue in Writ Petition No. 2061 of 2007 and the present Petition is identical is accepted even by the learned Counsel for the Petitioner but it is contended that the Review Petition is filed in respect of the order dated 18 November 2016. That cannot be the ground to overrule the objection raised by the learned AGP.

Writ Petition is dismissed.
