The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. Disputes arose between the parties under a Dealership Agreement dated 8th August 2013. The petitioner invoked arbitration by writing a letter to the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Bombay Chamber appointed a sole arbitrator to decide these disputes. He entered upon the reference to his arbitration shortly thereafter, and the matter proceeded before him.

After the original arbitral mandate ended, it was extended for six months by mutual consent of the parties. The extended arbitral mandate ended on 10th November 2019.

The arbitral proceedings have reached the stage of passing the award.

Having regard to these circumstances, I am extending the arbitral mandate from 10th November 2019 until 30th June 2020 to complete the arbitral proceedings.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
