The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. The parties entered into a Sale Contract dated 26th March 2018. Disputes and differences arose between the parties. By an order dated 21st June 2018, the Court appointed Mr Amrut Joshi, Advocate as the sole arbitrator. The learned Arbitrator entered upon the reference to his arbitration shortly thereafter. 2.

Before the tribunal, the matter proceeded. The original arbitral mandate ended on 20th June 2019. By mutual consent, the parties agreed to an extension of six months. The extended mandate ended on 21st December 2019.

The arbitral proceedings have reached the stage of crossexamination of the Respondent's witnesses. 4.

Having regard to these circumstances, I am extending the arbitral mandate from 21st December 2019 until 31st October 2020 to complete the arbitral proceedings.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
