This Arbitration Petition has been filed under section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 seeking an extension of time for a period of two months to complete the arbitral proceedings and pass a final award. 2.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondent has fairly stated before me that the Respondent has no objection if the time is extended.

In these circumstances, it is ordered that the time to complete VRD 1/2

ARBPL1409.18.doc arbitration proceedings and pass a final award is extended by a period of two months from today.

The Arbitration Petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. No order as to costs.
