The Branch Manager of the State Bank of India, Mundra, Kutch, Gujarat has not complied with orders of this Court for opening of a locker in that branch and carrying out an inventory. The Branch Manager, Mr Satish Mehta is not entitled to conduct himself in this fashion.

P1-JOT137-2017.DOC Gujarat, to remain personally present at 11.00 am on 2nd May 2018. This notice will be served by the registry by courier and by the Petitioner by courier and hand delivery. I am making it clear that if Mr Mehta is not present in Court, I will take steps to compel his attendance including the issuance of a summons or a warrant and will even consider proceeding in contempt against him. There is no question of Mr Mehta needing to consult the legal department of the State Bank of India when he is presented with an order of this Court.
