After the matter is heard at some length, it is agreed between learned Counsel for the parties that the impugned order of Apex Grievance Redressel Committee ('AGRC') dated 17 February 2018 may be set aside and AGRC may be called upon to expeditiously decide the Petitioners' main appeal and, in the meantime, there may be status-quo as regards the scheme to be carried out on the portion of the property belonging to Respondent No.3 Society. Accordingly, the impugned order dated 17 February 2018 is set aside. AGRC is directed to decide the main appeal of the Petitioners, as expeditiously as possible and, in any event, within a period of eight weeks from the date this order is pointed out to AGRC. Both parties may appear before Secretary, SRA on 8 April 2019 at 11.00 a.m. and produce authenticated copy of this Pg 1 of 2

sg wpl3787-18.doc order. Secretary, SRA shall appoint a date for hearing of the appeal before AGRC. No steps shall be taken towards the Slum Rehabilitation Scheme proposed for the portion of area of the scheme belonging to Respondent No.3 Society. The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No order as to costs.
