This is a Petition for the adoption of a Male minor, Tryon born on 14th November 2007. The Petitioners have filed an Indian Guardianship Petition No. 36 of 2012 for guardianship of said male minor. The said Adoption Petition was filed by the Petitioners as per the provisions of the Judgement dated 27th October, 1999 of the Honourable Shri Justice F.I. Rebello (2000 All. MR. Pg. 39). The said Petition was granted on 19th December, 2012. By virtue of the said order dated 19/12/2012, he was 1/3

taken into Guardianship by the Petitioners Michael Machado and Mrs. Brenda Machado.

The Petitioners are residing at Nhava, Dist: Raigad and are aged about 59 and 53 years, respectively. They have been married for the past 24 years. They have no biological children of their own. They are in good health.

I have considered the petition, annexures thereto and the Report dated 14th February, 2017 from the Scrutiny Officer of Indian Council of Social Welfare (ICSW) which is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification. The first Petitioner is working as a Deputy Head Worker (Gardening) with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation(ONGC) Ltd. Panvel since 17th May 1992 and his monthly gross salary is Rs. 1,20,436/-. The Second Petitioner is a Housewife.

The Petitioners filed Guardianship Petition No.36 of 2012 in this Court. This was allowed by an order dated 19th December, 2012. The Petitioners now require an adoption order for Municipal Corporation Records. Hence this petition. As per direction of this Honourable Court the 2/3

Petitioners had deposited Rs.50,000/- by way of Premium on LIC Policy No. 00980378.

The Home Study Report of the Petitioners and the child are on record. The follow up Report of the proposed minor is on record. There is nothing adverse in these reports. Therefore, I do not find any impediment in granting the relief sought in this petition.

In view of this, the petition is allowed and the Judges Order is separately signed.
