Heard. This is Summery Suit for recovery of statutory dues. The Respondent is said to have agreed to make payment to the Plaintiff vide a joint memo filed before the Karnataka High Court. The Respondent is outside the jurisdiction of this Court. The payment was to be made in Mumbai. "C" forms were to be delivered in Mumbai. A material part of the cause of action has arisen in Mumbai.

I am satisfied that with leave granted under Clause XII of the Letters Patent, this Court will have the necessary jurisdiction to try and entertain the suit.
