The grievance of the petitioner is that though the petitioners have submitted an application on 17th June, 2014 - Exhibit E, under Section 3C(1) of the Slum Act, 1971 before the Chief Executive Officer, Slum Rehabilitation Authority for declaring the property mentioned therein as "Slum Rehabilitation Area", but till date the said application has not been considered and decided. 3.

Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the only prayer pps

30 wp 3127-15.doc made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner to dispose of this petition by directing the third respondent to consider and take appropriate decision on the said application as expeditiously as possible.

In view of the aforesaid limited prayer, without commenting upon the merits of the matter and the petitioners entitlement, we dispose of this petition by directing the respondent nos.3 to take appropriate decision on the said application in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, but not later than three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.
