The above writ petition was placed for admission before this Court on 30th October, 2018. Since nobody appeared on behalf of the petitioner, the petition came to be dismissed in default. In paragraph 7 of the affidavit-in-support of the notice of motion, the petitioner has stated that by inadvertence, he failed to notice the matter which had appeared on board on 30th October, 2018 and, therefore, he could not remain present before the Court on the said date. 2.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, we are satisfied that the petitioner has sufficiently explained the reason for restoration. The notice of motion is, accordingly, allowed in terms of prayer clause (a) and, the writ petition is restored to its original file. 3.

The notice of motion stands disposed of.
