The present Interim Application seeks a prayer of expeditious hearing and disposal of Writ Petition No.1736/2019. 2.

The challenge in the Writ Petition is to an order dated 09/03/2018 passed by Respondent No.1-The Deputy Collector (GAD), Mumbai City, Mumbai.

The Petitioner is the daughter-in-law of Respondent Nos.2 and 3. It seems that the dispute is amongst the family members. It is suggested to the respective Counsel as to whether their respective clients would be agreeable to explore the possibility of resolving this dispute by mediation, both of them fairly agreed for the same.

Mr. Aditya Shiralkar, who is a practicing advocate in this Hon'ble Court, was present in the Court when the matter was called out. The Court requested him if he would be able to act as a Mediator in this matter. He expressed his ability to do so. Both the sides have no objection to his appointment as a Mediator. Thus, Mr. Aditya Shiralkar is appointed to act as a Mediator in this matter. On a copy of this order being uploaded, both the Counsel shall jointly approach learned mediator Mr. Aditya Shiralkar and fix a schedule for mediation and supply him with all necessary documents that are required. The costs of mediation shall be shared equally by both the parties.

The Writ Petition shall be fixed for final hearing on 12/01/2023, in the event the mediation fails.

In view of the above, the Interim Application is disposed of accordingly.
