This application is taken out on behalf of the Senior Inspector of Police, Byculla Police station praying that the last two sentences in paragraph-2 of order dated 9.8.2019 be deleted. KJ

Heard Mr.Thakre and also considered the application. 3.

At the outset, Mr.Thakre states that the letter at Exh.H to the application should not have been placed on record and seeks leave to withdraw it and prays that the averments thereto in the application be treated as scored off. The request of Mr.Thakre is accepted. 4.

Mr.Thakre also reiterates on behalf of applicant who is present in Court that applicant had no intention to treat the orders of this Court with any lack of seriousness that is required but there were certain circumstances as explained in the application which resulted in the order not being effectively complied with. 5.

Having heard Mr.Thakre and having considered the application, I am inclined to allow the application. 6.

In para-2 of order dated 9.8.2019 the last two sentences: "I have to note that the approach of the Senior Inspector of Police, Byculla Police Station is absolutely casual and the letter dated 26th July, 2019 smacks of gross irresponsibility on his part. Copy of this order be placed in his career records"

be deleted and be replaced with :

"I wish the police had provided the necessary details". 7.

Application accordingly disposed.
