We clarify that the applications will be taken up and decided on merits including on the question of the applicability of Circular No. 210 dated 1st August 2023. Consequently, in paragraph 2 after the word 'applications', the following shall be added.

The corrected paragraph 2 of the order dated 7th December 2023 now reads thus:

"2.

Given that this is a proposal under the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance, and Redevelopment) Act, 1971 ("(The Slum Act") and particularly under Section 3K for cluster development, there is evidently a need to dispose of the applications, "including the applicability of Circular No. 210 dated 1st August 2023" one way or the other at the earliest possible."

The decision is to be taken in any event before 7th March 2024.

The order dated 7th December 2023 be corrected accordingly.
