We find that the Petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of his Consumer Dispute filed before the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Suburban District at Bandra, Mumbai.

The contention is, written notes of arguments are filed in June, 2017 and thereafter though the dispute has appeared on board on some

2/3 occasion, orders have not been passed.

Learned G.P. points out that neither State of Maharashtra nor the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum are joint properly. She also seeks time to obtain instructions.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner relies on provisions of Section 13 (3A) of Consumer Protection Act, to urge that the dispute needs to be decided within three months.

Taking over all view of the matter, we find that interest of justice can be met with, by directing the Petitioner to prefer an express application to that Forum for expeditious disposal of his dispute. If such an application is moved in Consumer Complaint No.431 of 2015, within three weeks from today, the the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, shall look into that application, as per law, within next eight weeks.

With these directions and with liberty to the Petitioner to approach this Court again, if grievance survives thereafter, we dispose of this Petition.
