Mr Kachare has instructions from the 4th Respondent, and he has also filed an Affidavit. He states that an application has been made to the City Survey Officer to demarcate the width and length of the road in question. An application has also been made to the Tree Authority for the removal of the standing trees and possibly their transplantation or compensatory planting as may be required under directions of the Tree Authority for the purposes of widening this road. He further states that within four weeks of these 15th March 2024

916-WP-720-2024.DOC permissions being received, the 4th Respondent developer will fully construct and deliver possession of the road. 2.

It is not possible for the Writ Court to microscopically manage these routine developments and road-building matters. We note and accept the statements made by Mr Kachare as undertakings to the Court and dispose of the Petition in these terms but with liberty to the parties to apply.
