DATED :- MARCH 9, 2016 P.C. :- 1) After this petition was argued for sometime and the petitioners concede that now a notification has been issued by the competent authority on 15th January, 2016, Mr. Dhond learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners, on instructions, states that the petitioners will not press the petition and the Chamber Summons, but would approach the competent authority with a request that the original timings in the licence be restored and the notification or the rigors thereof be relaxed as far as the petitioners are concerned.

If any representation is made by the petitioners to the competent authority, the competent authority should consider it strictly in accordance with law. We clarify that we express no opinion either on the contentions raised in the writ petition or on the merits of the request which has been made by Mr. Dhond. 3) The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. In the light of the disposal of the writ petition, the chamber summons does not survive and stands disposed of as such. There would be no order as to costs.
