For reasons mentioned in the affidavit in support, the delay is condoned. The chamber summons is accordingly disposed in terms of prayer clause (b).

The counsel for the defendant states that the affidavit in reply will be filed in the registry during the course of today and a copy thereof also be served upon the plaintiff.
Rejoinder to be filed and copy served on or before 28th April, 2016.
