The Advocate on record for the Appellant has taken out a Chamber Order being Chamber Order (L) No.751 of 2016 seeking discharge. Discharge is sought on the basis of an order made by Karnataka High Court directing winding up of the Petitioner Company. The Official Liquidator has been appointed as the Liquidator of the Petitioner Company.

To the affidavit-in-support of the Chamber Order, a letter dated 29th November 2016 addressed by the Advocate for the Petitioner to the Official Liquidator who has been appointed as the Liquidator of the Petitioner Company has been annexed. The Official Liquidator has not caused appearance before this Court.

Accordingly, we grant discharge to the Advocate for the Appellant by making the Chamber Order absolute.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. We make it clear that it will be always open for the Official Liquidator of the Petitioner Company to make an Application for revival of the Petition, if he so desires.
