After hearing the learned advocate for the petitioner and the respondent concerned, the writ petition stands disposed of in terms of following order.

ORDER

A) The proposal for promotion of the petitioner shall be forwarded by respondent No.5 - Principal pursuant to the report of selection committee dated 01/01/2023. B) The University in turn to consider the proposal on its own merits and then forward to respondent No.2 for deciding the same on its own merits, even uninfluenced by this order. If a prior permission of the State Government is required, then the University would do the needful.

2 903 wp 745-24 C) We expect the management to forward the proposal within couple of weeks from the receipt of copy of the order and the University shall decide the same within next four weeks.
