Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith. With consent of parties, the petition is taken up for final disposal.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that validation proceedings in respect of his tribe claim is pending with the committee since the year 2007. Even vigilance is conducted in the year 2008, however, the same is not yet decided and the action is sought to be taken against the petitioner.

Learned AGP, on instructions, states that validation proceedings are pending and now next date is 3rd February, 2017.

The petitioner shall appear before the Committee 1/2

37wp68-17.odt on 3rd February, 2017 and cooperate in expeditious disposal of the proceedings. The committee shall decide the said proceedings on its own merits, expeditiously preferably within six months.

Rule is made absolute accordingly. No costs.
