The Petitioner's claim of belonging to the 'Mannervarlu' Scheduled Tribe category is pending adjudication since 28/02/2018. A correction in the spelling of the Tribe in the certificate is carried out on 13/12/2023 and then submitted to the Scrutiny Committee on 26/12/2023.

The learned A.G.P. submits that the Vigilance Cell Enquiry would be completed in three months, by following the due procedure, and on the hearing on the Report, the decision would be delivered within six months from today.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off, by recording the above statement. The Petitioner shall render wholehearted cooperation and shall refrain from seeking adjournments on unreasonable and trivial grounds, lest, the Committee would be justified in rejecting the request and progressing to the next stage in the proceeding.
