The petitioner, who is the district awardee teacher, is awaiting benefits of one increment as per the declared policy which is sought to be changed by issuing a circular dated 04.09.2018 retrospectively.

The issue has been considered umpteen number of times by this Court. Such orders are annexed to the petition. The petitioner's representation dated 23.08.2023 (Exhibit F) has been pending with the respondent Zilla Parishad.

We dispose of the Writ Petition directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation in the light of the decisions of this Court, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within six weeks.
