ORDER

Heard both sides.

Present applicant, who is arrested by Shrirampur Taluka Police Station in Crime No.1-92/2014 for the offences punishable under sections 399 and 402 of the Indian Penal Code and under section 4 read with section 25 of Arms Act, prays for release on bail.

The complaint by Police Sub Inspector would show that on 26.9.2014, in the evening, present applicant along with his companion was apprehended while they were making preparation for commission of decoity. Weapons like knife, one sword, cable wire and packet of chilly powder were allegedly seized from applicant and his companion.

Upon hearing both sides and taking into consideration the statement of the learned APP that the applicant is an accused in four previous cases and that he has been regularly appearing in those cases and also finding that the charge sheet has now been filed, applicant can be released on bail. 5.

Hence, following order:

(A) The applicant be released on bail in Crime No.192/2014 for the offences punishable under sections 399 and 402 of the Indian Penal Code and under section 4 read with section 25 of Arms Act registered with Shrirampur Police Station, on his executing P.R. bond in the amount of Rs.20,000/- and on furnishing surety in the like amount.

(B) The applicant shall not try to influence prosecution witnesses.

Application stands disposed of.
