This petition is filed for release of vehicle and also for grant of compensation. During pendency of petition, vehicle of the petitioners was released. The counsel for the petitioners says that he would still continue the petition for grant of compensation. We are not inclined to entertain this petition for the purpose of deciding the amount of compensation. The petitioners are free to claim compensation by approaching the appropriate forum. We are also of the view that for claiming compensation, the petitioners have efficacious alternate remedy. The petition stands disposed of. Rule discharged.

In view of disposal of writ petition, pending civil applications do not survive and the same stand disposed of.
