This application has been moved for quashment of F.I.R., registered at the instance of respondent No.2. The applicants herein are R.T.O. officials. The informant was a truck driver. The informant has come around to settle the matter. He has filed on record an affidavit and has given consent to allow this application. In these circumstances, if the applicants are required to face the prosecution, it would be an exercise in futility. 2.
