These applications are for directions to appellant/acquiring body to deposit remaining amount of compensation alongwith interest. It is submitted by the learned Counsel for respondent No.1/ acquiring body that, some amount is already deposited in this Court. The remaining amount is not paid because of calculation work. 2.
The interest is awarded by the learned Reference Court from the date of possession instead of date of award, in view of judgment in the case of State of Maharashtra Vs. Kailash Shiva Rangari reported in 2016 (4) ALL MR 513. Hence, following order : 2/3
ORDER
(a) The applications are allowed.
(b) The acquiring body is directed to deposit the amount in the office of this Court within twelve (12) weeks alongwith interest be calculated from the date of award instead of notification.
