The law laid down in GTA Limited vs. Maharashtra Rajya Rashtriya Kamgar Sangh and others, 2006 (3) Mh.L.J. 646 and the order passed by this Court (Coram : S.V.Gangapurwala, J.) dated 26.03.2013 in Writ Petition No.1845/2013 (Ankush Raghunath Deshmukh vs. Balasaheb Raghunath Deshmukh) is that a defendant, who has jointly submitted the Written Statement with other co-defendants, cannot be permitted to amend the Written Statement and he may opt for moving an application for seeking permission to file the additional Written Statement. Shri Deshpande, learned Advocate for the Petitioner, submits
