We have heard Mr. P.F. Patni, the learned Counsel for the petitioner. He submits that the petitioner has issued notice under Section 127 of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act (M.R.T.P. Act) for purchase of land under reservation. No steps are taken for acquisition, as such, the acquisition has lapsed. 2.

The learned A.G.P. accepts notice for respondent Nos.1 to 3.

As per the provisions of Section 127 of the M.R.T.P. Act, the statutory notice period is two years.

In view of that, the Writ Petition is premature. The petitioner may take steps as is permissible after lapse of statutory period prescribed under Section 127 of M.R.T.P. Act. 5.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
