The Petitioner approached the Court at the eleventh hour.

The Petitioner requires to submit the validity certificate on or before 18.01.2022. The Petitioner is elected on 18.01.2021 as a Member of the Village Panchayat. If the Petitioner fails to submit the validity within one (01) year, the Petitioner stands disqualified.

The Petitioner has placed on record the Roznama to suggest that all the time adjournment is sought by the Complainant.

It is submitted that the vigilance also is not yet complete. The copy of Vigilance Report is not served upon the Petitioner.

At the eleventh hour we cannot issue positive directions against the Committee. However, considering the predicament faced by the Petitioner, the Committee if it is possible for it may, endeavour to decide the proceeding by 18.01.2022.

The Writ Petition accordingly stands disposed of. No costs.
