The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner is appointed as Kotwal. The proposal seeking validation of the caste claim is pending with the Committee since June-2015. The same is not yet decided. The employer has issued notice to the Petitioner to submit the validity within 15 days or else the Petitioner shall stand terminated.

The learned A.G.P. accepts notice for all the Respondents.

Considering the fact that the validation proceeding in respect of the caste claim of the Petitioner is pending, we pass the following order.

The Petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 07.02.2022. The Committee shall, thereafter, endeavour to decide the proceeding expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (06) months from the date of appearance of the Petitioner.

The impugned order is quashed and set aside.

6.

The Respondents may take further course of action depending upon the Judgment that may be delivered by the Committee in the validation proceeding.

7.

Writ Petition accordingly stands disposed of. No costs.
