The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an application seeking rental compensation. Same is not yet decided.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondent Nos. 1 and 2 submits that application has been filed after a long slumber of about 48 years.

In case the application for rental compensation filed by the petitioner is pending with the authority, the authority may take decision on the same after hearing all parties concerned, expeditiously and preferably within a period of nine (09) months from today. The authority may consider all aspects of the matter including the delay if raised by the parties.

In the light of the above writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
